Grid-Edge Flexibility Challenge

What this event is about

Peak demand on our distribution network is growing faster than we can add capacity, and every new substation takes years and tens of millions to build. We're looking for ways to shift or shave residential and small-commercial load at the grid edge: smart thermostat programs, managed EV charging, behind-the-meter batteries, or something we haven't thought of yet. Selected teams get a paid pilot across up to 2,000 customer sites in 2027.
